EquaGel® is a dry-polymer gel with unbelievable tensile and compression strength and incredible durability.
The Protector is a multi-purpose pressure cushion for those with moderate to high pressure relief needs who are still able to shift their own weight. The columns of the cushion buckle and pass excessive weight to surrounding walls to equalise and thereby minimise pressure.
This two-layered 65mm deep cushion features EquaGel in two stages. The top layer (25mm) is a thin wall gel in a tight grid for a comfort layer. The bottom layer (40mm) is a thicker wall gel with a wide grid for deep posture support.
The pelvic area of the cushion is contoured to distribute a user’s weight more evenly than flat cushions. Yet it retains 45mm of buckling gel under the pressure points.
There are 8 sizes, in widths from 16” to 30” (40cm to 76cm) and depths of 16” and 18” (40cm and 45cm).
